As a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) I believe that creativity and access to our imagination are essential tools for self-discovery, transformation and health. When we become stuck in life, these tend to be the first tools that we lose access to.
I use traditional counseling techniques paired with creative arts therapy (which could include writing, engaging with music, art-making, mindfulness, visualization, embodied play) to aid you, your child/family, or your group in finding resilience, personal insight, growth, and openness to new opportunities.
I have a body-centered, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and individualized approach that also recognizes that we are each impacted by the communities and systems that we are part of. I enjoy collaborating with clients to help you find agency in your own healing process and become your own visionary in hard times.
About Me
Fees are dependent on how we are working together (individual, family or pairs therapy, supervision, coaching or group facilitation) but in general I have a sliding scale between $200-300 per 50 minute session, with a limited number of lower fee spots ($75-150) (which I try to prioritize for low-income artists, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals and families).
I often refer clients to the Green Bottle Method if you are not sure whether you should pay a sliding scale or request a low fee.
I do not currently take insurance, but will provide you with a billing statement each month to submit to insurance if you have out-of-network benefits.

Where do you see clients?
I can see clients for therapy and coaching in NY State both virtually and in-person in my Hudson Valley location. I can also be available for in-home work in the Hudson Valley on a case-by-case basis.
Coaching and group facilitation is available virtually to all geographic locations - let’s discuss!
What ages do you work with?
I see children (in-person only), adolescents and adults (in-person or virtually).
When working with kids I often prefer to include family work, which could mean regular or intermittent family or parent sessions.
